Sherwood is a small school with a solid reputation for excellent language teaching. We pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching and the rapid progress of our students, as well as on our friendly and professional atmosphere. All teachers are native speakers of the language they are teaching and are highly qualified. The language being studied is the only vehicle of communication.

For Spanish, we are the academy of choice for professional cyclists training with international teams in Girona. We have also taught tailor-made courses to visiting high school students, British university professors and, for some time, even taught Spanish to the singer-songwriter Sheryl Crowe. During the summer months our school becomes more international, welcoming students from all corners of Europe as well as from further a field.

Sherwood students receive individual attention within the group, so that the teacher can quickly identify each student's strengths, weaknesses and learning styles, and carefully monitor and facilitate individual progress. In return, students are expected to work well and to be an active participant in their own learning.
